The Strawberry Line
The Strawberry Line is essentially an 11 mile ‘mostly’ traffic free path which runs from Shepton Mallet to Yatton, via Wells and Cheddar. The Strawberry Line is a great option for a walk or a cycle with your family.
Uphill Walks
Uphill is a great place to visit with a number of different sites to explore, there is a beautiful rugged beach, a boat yard, a quarry and a historic church! There are a number of walks you can take from a peaceful meander through the boat yard to a 9 mile route which touches on The Mendips.
Ashcombe Park
The fabulous Ashcombe Park is situated in the area of Milton and is a top choice for a family trip to the park. As well as having two separate play areas the park is complete with wooded areas and winding paths, making it a great area for children wanting to run about and explore.
Clarence Park
Clarence park is a top spot situated near the sea front. There is loads of green space to explore. Plus Clarence Park cafe serves hot and cold food and drink for you to enjoy.
Grove Park
Grove Park is situated in the town centre and provides a haven from the busy shopping area. The beautiful grounds are home to rock gardens, where three ponds link with a conservation area and the largest bug hotel. Plus the park is pushchair friendly!
Worlebury Woods
Worlebury Woods a great spot for a family walk and there is a surfaced walk way down the old roman road so it's accessible for a buggy. Plus at end of the woods there is a fantastic woodland play area.
